  Got my dress from NY Bride on the third or fourth time I went in! I loved it! Sales clerks are very nice and offered help when I needed it but also let me take stuff off the racks myself and just try stuff on (Actually found the dress shopping by myself...totally no pressure!). They have a huge dress selection at a range of good prices.  Found my dress for almost $200 less than a shop near Buffalo and they are storing it there for me for free until the wedding.

  This was the first store I went to, had no clue what I wanted at that point and they didn't care that I had practically every dress on by the time I left.  I looked all over Syracuse, NYC, you name it...I went back to NY Bride by myself after I had figured out what I liked/didn't like and ended up buying my dress from there.  Like others mentioned, the employees aren't pushy, they aren't rude, they are nice.  The weekends are the busiest obviously, and they still give you attention when you need it.  I went during the week to show my mom the dress and you are basically catered too since it's not busy then!  Good luck:)

  There is one older woman who works there who isn't very friendly but everyone else I spoke to was very helpful. It was the first and only place I looked for a dress. I had an idea of what I wanted but tried on many diff styles. Overall it was a good experience. My FI is probably going to rent his and the groomsmens tuxs from there. Good luck!
