Everyone ok after the storms?

I hope everyone is ok after all the storms yesterday.  Does anyone have any damage?

    No damage here, but I spent a delightful evening in the basement hallway of the music building with about 8 million other students and zero fresh air.  Well...at least German class was cancelled.  :)

    FI's sister was texting us last night and I was getting all these tornado warning texts from EMU..I called my sister to make sure everyone was okay and she didn't even know anything was going on haha.

    Hope everyone is safe!

I got a panicked text back from her wondering where she should go in her apartment. Thankfully she's on the ground floor, so I had her curl up in her bathtub with a blanket.</div><div>
    </div><div>When I was younger I wanted to be a storm chaser. I was a Meteorology major in college until I couldn't pass calculus 2, so storms interest the heck out of me. I'm that crazy person that when I hear tornado warning, I run outside.</div>

    I had no idea you guys had storms in the metro-detroit area. We had sunny skies in grand rapids!

    We are good...however my dog was a nervous wreck.  First crack of thunder and she ran to the bathroom (at least she knows how to be safe).  I finally got her to come in the bedroom but she stayed in the same spot for about 4 hours, her breathing finally calmed down about an hour into the storm.  I think its time to get her some doggie xanax.

    We were ok.  For awhile there it looked like the path was heading straight for the Livonia area so I had all our stuff packed up and was reaedy to grab Bella and run for the basement.

    DH thinks I went a bit overboard but oh well.  Severe weather is much more stressful now that I own my own house.  Gah.

    We were in Dexter yesterday about 2 hours before the storms hit because we were looking at our ceremony site which is in Dexter! We were at our tasting last night about 15 min away from there when they actually hit. We had to stay over an hour after our tasting (luckily they brought out some alcohol) but on the bright side we got to spend some extra time with our wedding planner.
