Day-of Wedding Coordinator...on a budget. Is this even possible?

Hi Ladies!  My fiance and are planning a Fall 2012 wedding - the ceremony and reception will be at my parents' house in NKY (they live on a few acres).  I currently live in Chicago, and while my Mom is more-than supportive and creative, I want us to be able to primp and pamper before the wedding begins.  This is a long shot - but does anyone know of a day-of wedding coordinator I can contact, that won't break the bank?  We are only having 60 people for a very intimate ceremony and reception - I can't justify spending $3k for some of the quotes I've received. 

If you even know of people who do this on the side or as a second business, I'm all ears!

    I know a girl that does that kind of stuff. We were going to hire her but we just didn't see the need. She's super sweet and beyond helpful and definitely will not break the bank. NO $3k for her. She does all kinds of wonderful things and has event experience.

    We used Sue from Best Friend Errand Service as our DOC and loved her. She always thought ahead and went up and beyond what we listed for her to do.  She is $30/hr, I believe.

    I am working with lindsey mesa and she is very affordable. I wasn't going to have one because of the cost but I found her and got her pricing and decided it was so worth it for the cost. She does it on the side and she has great ideas and is very willing to help throughout, not just day-of. Email her for a quote at lindseydyan.mesa@gmail.com

    As if you don't have enough choices- check out Petalsonparkavenue.com they have some great ideas and it is run by 2 ladies who do it because they love it! We would be willing to assist you in the aspects of your wedding. Please contact us and we can discuss we also do Rentals : vases, lines, etc. We also have a Floral Section too and are very reasonable for wedding flowers. We pride ourselves on making everything have a brides personal touch!
