Hey ladies,

Well, we tried to begin our planning trip to Oahu today. We were at the airport at 6am. Edmonton to Denver was delayed and we missed out flight to Hawaii by about 2 minutes. Sent to San Francisco, 2 hour delay and we missed our Hawaii flight. Routed to Las Vegas (Vegas Baby!!) and are now waiting to board (hopefully) our Hawaii flight. We should get in about 5am Hawaii time (8am our time, so 26 hours after we left). United has washed their hands of us and sent us to Hawaiian Airlines. We meet with the planner at 10am. I really hope I sleep tonight on the plane!! Anyway, it's way too late and I'm bored at the airport, so this was just a little post for all of you.

That is terrible! I hope you sleep too. Maybe you can buy some Benadryl or Tylenol PM and take that on the plane. Travel safe!

My FI travels for work a lot and he, too, does not like United. I enjoyed flying Alaska and Hawaiian to Hawaii.

Flying on Alaska to Hawaii in 2 weeks! Yay! Hope you make your meeting and make sure you get some rest!

Ugh that's no fun. They've rescheduled, cancelled, and rescheduled our flights over and over again. We are supposed to go to a luau the night we arrive so hopefully they don't pull that crap when we leave!
