Do any of you use Pinterest?  I went on the site and signed up and looked through some pins... but I'm still confused what it really is and what it's used for.  Also I was put on a waiting list to join.. I didn't realize it was in such demand.  I guess you need to be invited?

    I haven't looked into it..I'm scared that it will start another online obsession for me and I already have enough since being engaged! LOL

    Yes, you have to be invited. It is a way to save websites that you want to go back to later. It also shares them with others and can see what others have saved. You can search what others have saved by category (like Wedding).

    It's addicting. Seriously.

    As jelybean said, it's like an electronic inspiration board with shortcuts (in the form of pictures) that bring you to your "pinned" websites/pictures/etc. Some people have started uploading their own photos and pinning them, so it's also a way you can share your own photos with the world. (Not sure why you'd want to do that, actually, but I've noticed it happens. I just pin wedding-related stuff.)
