Real Housewives of DC

This show makes me laugh and I've only watched 10 minutes of it! It's very weird watching a show that takes place in a city I've lived near for over 4 years and seeing a completely different lifestyle.

I do keep waiting for people I know to pop up though. Like my sil (not in a drama way, but in a "she's a high powered lawyer" type of way), or my cousin (in a drama way).

This show was a disappointment to me. Compared to the other Housewives series this is very non-drama filled which makes it not very entertaining when I am trying to ruin my brain with mindless TV.

I only watched one episode so I am now shutting my mouth.

I still think I like OC the best. Maybe because it's so different from what I'm used to or maybe just because the show is filled with prettier people.

It was the same way with Real World though. Every time they went out somewhere it was like "Wait, that's in DC? Heh..didn't know that"

Haha. I like OC and New Jersey the best although I think Danielle should be cut out of New Jersey because I am so sick of her, she needs to step off the giant mountain she is sitting on. No one cares about her and we are all tired of seeing her cry...but then I guess if she left then there would be no more table flipping and hair pulling.

I got really into NYC and also watched Bethenny getting married? I just cant seem to get into DC. The name dropping is driving me crazy.

Omg the name dropping drove me crazy too. I cannot relate at ALL to DC nor do I find it comical that they are amused by polo and skinny people.

I watch all these shows except OC and Bethenny Getting Married is my favorite by far. I'm not impressed by DC so far.

There are too many skinny people in DC. I keep waiting for the crazy bird lady I used to have as a customer to show up on the show. She was the ultimate in self entitled rich biitch.

I don't know how I feel about the RHODC yet. It seems kind of.... boring. I'm a big fan of OC and NY so I was hoping DC would be more intellectual. So far it's just blah.

Katie, I felt the same way as you when I watched episodes of this lame show called "Southern Belles: Louisville" when it was on the Oxygen network or something. I watched the episodes online and laughed because I've never met anyone like them before here. I mean, I know there are rich people here, but we're in Kentucky people. We can't be THAT hoity toity, you know? It almost embarrased me for these peole that think they're so important when, in the end, they still live in Kentucky.

I just think the DC ones think they are really important and intelligent and from what I've watched they are all idiots. They feel like they know everything about politics when they only name drop. Michaele, especially, is an idiot.

hahah I totally watched this! And I'm a huge dork so I read sites online about it and basically most of them weren't friends at all and it was so forced and fake. Oh well, still amusing.

DC isn't as good as the others. NYC Is the best because the humor is much snappier (at least to me). Maybe I just have a girlcrush on Bethenny though.

I will keep watching to see if it gets interesting.
