wedding packages Hyatt vs. Sheraton in Maui???

Does anyone know what package would be more beneficial for a small wedding about 15-20 people? im having a hard time deciding between these two pacakages and my budget is $10,000.  I dont know if its worth holding a small cocktail type reception, buffet, or simply going to a restaurant for the reception.  Also I want to know if anyone has ever stayed at either of these hotels and if there's any recommendations as far as holding weddings here, and the amenities they offer there.  What are some destination brides advice as far as planning? oh and we're looking into picking October 21 or 22, 2011 as our wedding dates so im on a time crunch here! please i need advice!

Congrats on your engagement! I don't know about their packages but my vote would be for the hyatt...a former knottie had her ceremony on their front lawn...it is very lush and the grounds are beautiful.  HTH! Thx. J. :-)

FWIW, i seriously considered getting married at the four seasons.  We were going to have our reception on their property as well on a terrace. J. :-)

WOW.  They hired Still Motion and also got Studio Red + Aria Studios?  That's freaking awesome.

Tanq...i know eh...this was there big spurge.

spikeinc...when we first started planning our group was under 10 and we...me and my mom...were seriously considering the four seasons Maui...we were going to have our ceremony at the plumeria point i believe it is called and then have a dinner on one of their terraces...they were fine with our size.  However, this was over two years ago so maybe things have changed...getting married beach front was never an option as there is a $20K min or close to it to use their lawn.

    J. :-)
