My FMIL is sewing my wedding dress (she's a costume-maker for the film industry, so don't worry, I'm in good hands). Well, first step is making a muslin, which is kind of like a mock-up first trial of the dress made out of cheap material (so you can get a perfect fit). I'm going to LA in 2 weeks to visit FI, and at that time she'll have my muslin ready! I've known this for awhile, but she just emailed me about it, and now i'm so excited!
