Wanted to share a photo

This board was soooo helpful to me when I was planning my second wedding last month....you ladies kept me sane!  I was so worried about not looking beautiful, and not looking age-appropriate, and I just wanted to share a photo....

It was a gorgeous day, and I felt gorgeous and happy and it was everything I'd hoped for!  And you know what?  I'm glad it was great and I'm glad it's over!

    Thank you so much for the compliments!  I must confess it was a HUGE fear of mine that I wouldn't look and/or feel beautiful on my wedding day.  I know everyone says you will, but I truly didn't believe it.  I typically hate looking at myself in photos....I'm just pretty self-conscious.

    I can honestly say that I couldn't take my eyes off myself...hahahaaha!!!!!!  I was  soooooo relieved and surprised and just...thrilled!!!  And now that we've settled into married life, it really isn't all that different, just that we have some new wonderfl memories to add to our collection!  And some great pictures too!

    Congratulations, you looked stunning and I'm sure you felt even better on your wedding day. Thank you so much for sharing your pic with us!

    There's always that lingering thought of looking appropriate in you gown.

    I had the same feelings and thoughts, as many of us do,  I was 53 at the time of the wedding and didn't want to look like I was trying to look like a 20 something, so I get you on that.
