Ballymeade

Anyone been/had their wedding at Ballymeade?  I'm considering the Cape and would love a place with an ocean view but I'm not sure that's in the budget cards. Any other Cape reccomendations welcome - would be for approx 200-250 people.
Thanks!

I'm getting married at Ballymeade next week! So far everything has been really great but I will give a full review after.

With your size, though, you would def need a tent option, which I haven't had any experience with. We are using the regular ballroom, which has a max of 176. The views are really pretty, as long as you like gof courses, of course. We weren't concerned about ocean views but it had to be on a golf course. You actually can see the ocean in a distance but it's pretty far out there :)

Have you looked at New Seabury or Poppannesset Inn? They might fit your size and were pretty close in price to Ballymeade once you factor in catering, venue rental, and bar. Poppy is tented on the beach, New Seabury is more of a standard country club but does have limited ocean views.

Thanks for the reply!  My fiance's sister got married at the Poppy so I can't do a repeat, didn't know about the 176 max, that is helpful to know, thanks again!

    Hi Kristen!
I'm getting married at Ballymeade next September and thought the max was 150....I would be thrilled if it is closer to 176!!  Is the main ballroom you're using the same room with the round bar?  Any info you could provide would be great!!  And congrats....I'm sure this weekend will be amazing!!

We were told 176 exactly-- which means every table is full and I think the room would be pretty tight. I know the max number of tables is 14 and fewer is better. And yes, the main ballroom with the round bar- that was our favorite part! We actually only have 120 coming now, so we will have plenty of space.

We leave for the Cape tomorrow-- I feel like we just got engaged but the past few weeks especially have flown by! So far the weather looks to be cooperating-- even being a little bit cold so we can use the fireplace during cocktail hour!
