Just saying hi! My name is Kate, I just started planning my wedding with the wonderful love of my life, Andy. I moved to Pennsylvania a while ago to be with Andy, but I'm a Delaware girl, born and raised! Outside of my venue (which is in New Jersey), I'm using vendors from Delaware that I know and trust.

To make the wedding experience even more exciting, I was picked to be on TLC's Say Yes To The Dress! I go to Kleinfelds to tape the show next Friday! SUPER THRILLED!

Anyway, congrats! Who else are you using for vendors? When is the date? More details! The girls on here are GREATAWESOMEAMAZING and will help you with whatever you need.

Well, I wanted to go to Kleinfelds for the dress anyway, and they have a link on their website to apply for the show, so I figured I'd give it a shot! Go figure, I heard back the following day! I'll let you know once I get an air date!

As of now we're booked for July 23, 2011 at Currents Ballroom, part of the Camden Aquarium. I'm waiting to hear if I can get my first choice of July 16th - someone else was tentatively booked for the date, but my coordinator hasn't heard a confirmation from her yet.

For vendors, I worked as an assistant in an event coordinating company a few years ago. We had a number of companies we worked with, so I'll be picking and choosing from that list of vendors. The coordinators also do floral design, so I'll be working with them for decor. Still in the midst of officially booking everyone else!

Awesome! My only suggestion would be to ask around as well for recs on here for vendors as well. While I am sure your list is great (many DOCs have great contact lists built up), the girls on here often have found hidden gems that do amazing work. You never know what they may throw your way!
