How was everyone's weekend?  Do anything fun?

We had Greek Fest and Polish Festival in Syracuse (translation in Monica's world.... LOTS of amazing food).... but I didn't make it to either one.

My house is a complete disaster scene.  I managed to unpack and finish laundry from our honeymoon... pretty much all of the wedding stuff is still sitting in huge tupperware bins in my living room.  I can't even bring myself to deal with it yet.  ugh.

I did manage to screw around online for a few hours and list a handful of things on my "Online Garage Sale" site.  I also created a Mrs. bio.  Very productive way to waste my time when I should have been cleaning.  meh... oh well.  Thank you notes are done (we actually did them all on the plane flying to and from St. Lucia.... great way to kill some time and check them off the list!!)... but not addressed.  It's sooooo easy.... I have all the addresses... just write them on the envelopes.... but I just have no motivation to do it.  Maybe tonight... over a mojito.

Speaking of mojitos.... I also bought a new blender and tried it out... multiple times.  I make a pretty mean mojito, I must say.  It might be my new favorite summer drink.  If I could only find a way to make coconut and mint taste better together.... I'm still working on perfecting that.

Brother in law is still in town with his dog.  He's been pretty fun to hang out with while Kevin is at work... but I feel like it is giving me an extra excuse to not clean.

Hopefully this week I will be a little more productive.

    Great weekend!  My shower was Saturday, everything was wonerful!  I'll post pics soon!  There are gifts all over my living room, I'm not complaining.  Yesterday we had our E-pics and should have the cd tonight :)!  The rain held off for a little while so we could have most of them outside.  After E-pics we went to Michael's in Waterville.  That's the restaurant we went to the night we got engaged.  Today it's back to reality and work.

    Oooh Monica, great idea doing the thank you notes on the plane. All together our flights for our HM are going to be about 20 hours, so lots of time to get them taken care of.

    Thanks!  Lol!  It was either do thank yous or sleep.  I knew once I got home it would be back to work and unpacking and chaos... so I tried to use my time wisely.  I did the ones for my guests and Kev did his and we got them all done.... cha-check!!!  We even had a few other honeymoon couples tell us "wish I would have thought of that!!!"

    Agree -- awesome idea!

    I had a weird weekend; left FI in NYC yesterday.  I'll be seeing him again next Friday and pretty much every weekend this summer, but it was still sad.  On a good note, I managed to buy the perfect necklace to go with my shower dress; I've been looking for ages!
