in September 2013 Weddings
What are your men wearing? Are you going the tux route? Suits? Suspenders? Bow ties? Sandals -- MAN-dals?! Hawaiian shirts?

Will your groom match the rest of the wedding party, or will he stand out in some way (you know, other than being the groom...)?

    The guys will be in khakis with a navy jacket, white shirts, and navy and yellow striped ties. Im debating on the most cost efficient way to do this... find a place to rent suits vs buying them in a department store. Its all definitely rewearable. Im not sure whether i want my FI to dress differently. Maybe a different tie or just a slightly larger bouttoniere. My ring bearer will just have turned 3 at that point so idk what im going to have him wear. I want him to be comfortable so theres less chance of being cranky. Im thinking khakis and a yellow button up shirt since my flower girl will have on a yellow dress.

    I'm thinking black tuxes for all the guys but FI said if I get to surprise him with what I am wearing than he can surprise me.   This scares me.

    Currently debating this one.  We're getting married at 12 and having our reception at 2.  So technically, the guys shouldn't really be in tuxes.  The plan was to try to get grey suits, navy ties, and yellow bouts (the girls will be in navy with yellow and white flowers) but FI talked to a few of the guys and they don't really want to buy suits (even if it's the same price as renting a tux).  So we're sort of back to the drawing board.  We'll either rent grey tuxes or buy grey suits.  At this point, I'm thinking it might be easier just to rent the tuxes and be done with it.  This is one of the few major decisions we still have to figure out...

    Our Guys will be wearing DARK Grey Tuxes. Theres one that almost looks black but its slightly off. All the GM's will be wearing vest & Ties to match the wedding party (either Grey or Teal, Probably Grey) and FI will be wearing a white vest and tie.

    FMIL wants to buy all the guys Flashy Socks to match the wedding colours.

    Suits, for sure. Guys will be in black with white shirts and black straight ties and FI will be in a black custom suit he is having made and then white shirt and either a black bow tie or maybe blush pink....we haven't decided yet!

    My FI and his bestman will both be wearing suits.  I thought it would be good to go to a place that had a BOGO free sale and they could split the cost of having a new suit.  They both liked this idea a lot.  My only request is that they are both in tones of brown.

    My FI and his best man are having suits made to match. I have tried to get them to go for navy as this is the main wedding colour (which my FI chose) so I hope that is what they will go for in the end. They will have matching vests, and as for ties I am not sure. I was hoping to convince him to go for a hot pink and navy striped tie, but it doesnt seem likely ;) So we will see. Seeing as I get to chose my dress I guess he should be allowed to chose his suit and stuff.

    FI and guys are doing black tuxes with a bow tie (i think a bow tie anyway)

    after the ceremony FI wants to change into a white dinner jacket like Humphrey Bogart....whatever makes him happy Foot in mouth

    We haven't really discussed it! I think the guys will be in tuxes, we are having an evening reception.  My dress has a black sash, so I thought the black tuxes would go well.  FI hasn't really said much about what he wants to wear.

    This is exactly what Fi told me. Ive been bugging him for the color so at least i know that. My rationale was that I have to dress our sons and they ahould somewhat match.     FI is no help with this lol, he just asks that I don't make him look stupid.

    I'm not sure yet if the suits will be dark brown or black, but I'm leaning toward black.  That's as far as I've gotten...guess I'd better get cracking!  I do know that I will have something to differentiate him from the other groomsmen; maybe a different color vest or tie, something like that.

    All I know so far is that I want them in tailored grey suits and FI in a navy tailored suit. We have not even started the process to find these, and to be honest...I'm not sure how excited I am because I feel like the look I am going for may be hard to find at a rental place. We will see haha!

    Since we're getting married on the beach I said no to the tuxes I think that may be uncomfortable for the guys so we're thinking linen pants and shirts

    Our guys are going to be wearing chocolate brown tuxes or suits with teal vests and my groom will stand out by wearing a khaki suit :)
