Just Married Vendor Rave!

Just married, and I wanted to send a quick rave about my favorite vendors. Hope this helps others! These folks were AMAZING:
The MANHATTAN PENTHOUSE. Extraordinary and wonderful in each and every way. The space, the views, the food, the ease. Monika deserves the highest praise. She is lovely and fabulously expert. MP and Monika were above and beyond. I am so glad we chose them. 
HOPE, FAITH, AND GLUTTONY. Hope Jones' baking company in Long Island City made my favorite wedding CAKE ever! And the price can't be beat in NYC! (her website doesn't do her justice!)
JOSEPH MACCHIA aka Joseph John Floral Design did the most beautiful FLOWERS!  Exactly what I wanted (simple!). The bouquet was awe inspiring. He can do anything. (his website isn't fancy, but he can be! he's also on fb.
The BAND was GREAT! Put together by my musician husband!  People danced nonstop. For the ceremony and cocktail hour:  on piano: Larry Ketchell;  on sax: Matt Cowan.  For the reception: Band leader, Guitarist & Vocalist Mark Newman; Vocalist Ellen O Brien;  Sax Matt Cowan; Keyboards Larry Ketchell; Bass Jeff Ganz; Drums Shawn Murray.
I recommend all of these folks with over the top enthusiasm!!!

    Adding on for clarity: the flower centerpieces were "simple," meaning beautiful, natural looking, low, with wildflowers, and the bouquets were AMAZING, as were the corsages, flower girl headpiece, boutinerres, and two wildly impressive tall vases for the ceremony....

    Congratulations!  I am getting married at Manhattan Penthouse and am working with Monika.  Do you have any tips specific to MPH or anything you wished you had known going in?

    I was looking at that venue, but I'm only having about 80 guests.  Do you think the venue is too big for that size (ie - I don't want it to look empty).  Thanks.

    I don't think so.  We had 130, but I think 80 would be great. Really!
