Now I dont have a ceremony location... JUST FREAKING LOVELY!- rant/HELP!

Last weekend I asked my grandparents if I could get married in there back yard and they said yes. Then 2 days later they called and changed there minds. Now I have no were to get married and our reception site is already booked. It is to small to do both the reception and ceremony in the same place. So I have been looking and have come up with nothing but dead ends. I need to have something close by so in the woonsocket, blackstone or bellingham area. Does anyone have any ideas? I am freaking out right now and am really really really hateing wedding planning right now :( I know it is stressful but I thought it was supposed to be fun at the same time. I am about to say sc**w it all and just go to city hall! But thats not waht i really want so I can't lol.

I have looked into a local park but it is autumfest weekend the weekend of our wedding so it will be to busy in  the city.  I have also emailed Roger williams park and got another number to call and then called that and got another number to call so I am on that little mission. I have also looked at places like chapelbytheseas. There have been a couple other places but I can't think of them off the top of my head right now.

We are getting married at our Church so I'm not going to be much help. But have you tried any Churches? Or even if there is a park or something near by. Your venue can't support a ceremony? Where is your reception?

Since you mentioned Autumnfest I'm going to assume you're in the northern part of the state. You should try Homestead gardens in North Smithfield

Ooooh the vineyard sounds like such a romantic site for a ceremony, but make you sure have a rain plan.  I don't know what facilities are up there but how about a VFW post or a Knights of Columbus hall or something like that?  I know the attraction to an outdoor ceremony, but this is new england, you have to have a plan for rain!!!

DImondhill Vineyards was my first choice it is sooo beautiful there. They close in September and I am getting married in October :(.
We are having our reception at The Bocce club in woonsocket. My cousin knows the owner and got us an AMAZING deal it is only going to cost us 950 for 100 people.
My mom stopped by Homestead Gardens for a little information I will be call there tomorrow!
I near thought of Lincoln Woods though. I haven't been there since Iwas 7!

Oh yeah, we are going to have a tent with sides as a back up if needed. I know the weather here is nuts. SOOOO can't wait to move to Florida next year!

I just wanted to thank all of you again. We booked Homestead Gardens. It is beautiful and if anyone else is looking for a outdoor wedding in that area they are cheap as in 100.00 and they provide chairs. They arn't the cheesey folding chairs either. They have the nice white wooden ones that you would normally pay 4.00 a chair to rent.

I still can't beleive I am FINALLY getting married and so much is done already it's crazy!Laughing
