venues in Baltimore/AA County area

Hi! I'm from MD, but moved to Atlanta totally planned my wedding a few years ago from the knot. And now my little sister is getting married!

She has two churches in mind (one in Glen Burnie and one in Catonsville). But has no idea on reception venue.

Does anyone have a great spreadsheet of venues? Do you think the venue search on the knot is pretty inclusive or are there are a lot of other venues that aren't included. Any other good websites or sources?

Really appreciate your help!

Carol

I don't have any venue's on spreadsheets, but there are a lot of places in that area.  I am having my reception at Overhills Mansion in Catonsville.  Just have her google reception halls in anne arundel county that should bring up a lot, you could also go to wedding wire.com they have a list as well.  Good luck in your search.

    Thanks!!!

About how far in advance to venues book in the area?

She is thinking they want to get married next October. In Atlanta, things book up a year in advance which is why I am pushing her along... ha ha!

You can usually get some pretty good deals if you book a year in advance.

She could try Michael's 8th Ave in Glen Burnie. They have lots of space.
