Use your own photographer

Do any chapels allow you to use your own photographer?

On strip, I've heard Caesars has recently brought back the option to pay a fee to not have to use their photog, every other strip resort won't allow it.  Off-strip some do, some don't.

I signed my contract with Caesars a few months ago and was able to get outside photography for $200.  We looked into the Flamingo before deciding on Caesars and were quoted $150 for outside vendors.  Not sure if either of those have changed recently.

I'm using my own photographer at Planet Hollywood, for a fee of $150.  Was quoted that price last month.

The Wynn allows you use your own photographer, but it's a $750 fee.

We are having our ceremony at the Flamingo, booked a couple of weeks ago. We were able to pay $150 to bring our own photgrapher. I think a few of the Harrah's properties have this option. Good luck!

That is great news if more Harrah's properties are doing that; maybe they're all choosing to not renew their Cashman contracts as they expire.  Maybe they've finally realized they would get more business by doing it.  We crossed off the first property we looked at originally because the Cashman price for all day coverage was going to be close to nine thousand dollars LOL.

Cashman are so terrible and such ripoffs, and to imagine the hundreds of thousands of dollars they're making yearly by overcharging for really awful photography.  Such a shame that more people don't think to ask around like you did here.  You've gotten some great advice.

We got married at The Artisan, and we had to pay $150 to not use their photog either, and brought in our own at a price of $800, so it only cost us $950 total, and was WELL worth it.

Do NOT use the in-house photogs.
