Possible Honeymoon destination

Hi Ladies,

We are thinking about going to Lake Tahoe, NV for a short honeymoon after the wedding..FI and I have never been before..any suggestions on where to stay? Things to do?

    I was there in May last year for a college roommate reunion and it is honestly one of the most beautiful places I've ever been!  But, it SNOWED (a lot) in May!!!  Crazy, but even the locals said it wasn't usual and didn't impact our great time!
    We stayed in South Tahoe, but I forget the name of the place. 

    We went hiking at Eagle Falls and Emerald Bay, both absolutely gorgeous!

    A few restaurants that we enjoyed were Red Hot Waffle Shop for breakfast and Bluewater Bistro (awesome views) for dinner.
