I had to write a review for all of my vendors because they were all AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hope that all brides have the experience that I did yesterday!!! Perfect day and I would not change a thing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Venue: Glen Island Harbour Club -- one word -- AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!! Rocco was our banquet manager and he was fantastic -- on top of everything. John our Mairtre D -- so attentive the entire night and made sure everything ran smoothly! Bridal attedant -- Calista -- she was great -- from helping me with my shoes, getting me drinks and making sure I ate -- she was fantastic! I honestly can't say enough good things about Glen Island -- they are experts and are top notch! I'm slightly neurotic and I have to say I didnt worry once about Glen Island missing a beat -- I just enjoyed my day and they took care of EVERYTHING!!! Worth every penny!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Flowers: Arcadia -- Beautiful -- everything from our centerpieces to the chuppah were beautfiul! Very easy to work with!
Band: STOLEN MOMENTS!!!!!!!!!! WOW!!!!!!!!!! I can't say enough good things about them!!! Seriously, they are the BEST WEDDING BAND!!! I literally danced the ENTIRE night!!! They played a range of music and played my requested songs -- they were just so unbelievable!!!!!! They are a fantastic deal -- you wont be able to beat the price for this quality!!!!!!!! You can get anywhere from 9 to 11 pieces. I had originally had 9 pieces but the day of the wedding they gave me 11!!!!!!! Amazing!!!!!!!!!! If you are a bride who loves to dance and have a great time -- YOU MIUST GET THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOVED THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Photography and Videography: H and H -- We had Fred and George and they were GREAT to work with!!! We had them on their feet the whole day and they paid attention to the little details! Soooo great to work with!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hair and Makeup: Hair -- Diane from Salon POSH -- AMAZING!!!!! I have long straight hair and diane managed to curl it and have it look gorgeous!!! I had her come back for touch ups right before the ceremony ( we did pictures before) I would highly suggest to any bride to have a hair and makeup touch up before walking down the aisle if pics are before the ceremony! Also, we got ready at the Radisson and blew a fuse -- Diane was a true professional and managed to still work on my mom and sister and have us out of there on time!!!!!! I can't say enough good things about her!!!!!!!!!!!! Loved her!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Make-up -- Jill - JkFlashy --- Again, AMAZING!!!!!! Jill did airbrushing and made me look beautiful!!! She's truly a talented make-up artist and knows what she is doing! Diane and Jill work great together and when the fuse blew Jill kept on working away and managed to have me and my mom and sister all looking beautful in the amount of time I allotted! Also, I did a make up touch up right before the ceremony and that was key -- my make-up stayed on all night -- I just needed to reapply my lipgloss ( which i bought from her). Again, I can't say enough good things -- Loved her!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Jill and Diane are FANTASTIC --- if you need top notch hair and make-up, Jill and Diane are the way to go!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hotel: Radisson - Alright, so you can't beat the location from Glen Island -- it's an 8 minute car ride -- and for me that was important -- I didn't want to be too far away from the venue and have to worry about traffic and being late. Glenia who does the group blocks is a plesure to work with -- she's fantastic! However, we were on the 6th floor and unfortunately we could hear the music from the nightclub down below -- I obviously didnt sleep much the night before due to anxiousness but the bass of the music didn't help the cause. We did blow a fuse as I mentioned beofre and I will say the front desk was very attentive and made sure we had everything fixed so we could still be on the time. The club is on Friday and Saturday nights so brides be cautious of that -- jsut bring earplugs and I suppose you will be fine -- Glenia though was great and really made things very easy!
My wedding day was everything I dreamed of!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hope this helps future knotties in planning their special day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
