Any ideas on where to get my fiance's wedding band in the Boston area?

My fiance and I need to start searching for his wedding band, but I do not know where to go.  I don't want to overpay, but yet we definitely want to get a nice plantinum wedding band for him.  Any ideas? I am feeling a little nervous that we haven't looked into it yet and he is very picky so I don't know how long this search is going to take.  Our wedding is in June.

Longs is having their wedding band weekend the last weekend of March at their Burlington store.  They are having promotional pricing and raffles throughout the weekend.  They recommended that I make an appointment, but I'm not sure I am going.  I work in downtown crossing right near the jewelers building and every few days I visit a couple of different jewelers to see what they have and how the prices compare.  So far we are getting FI's ring from Joseph Gann and my wedding band from Diamond Barr Jewelers.

I would second Long's wedding band weekend the last weekend in March.  We got our wedding bands and my engagement ring from Long's and had a fantastic experience.  My fiance ended up with a white gold ring for much less than the two other stores we looked at.

we got both our bands at long's in burlington.  very nice there.  they also sized my e-ring which was not purchased there for a very nominal fee.  $10 maybe?

DH and I both bought our bands from Ross-Simons in the Prudential Mall. We worked with Andrea and she was very helpful explaining all the choices they have.

I also recommend Long's.  You can find them downtown in the Financial District near South Station, and they also have stores in Natick and Burlington. Wait for the sale though, as they're not the cheapest in town, but good quality and service.  Good luck!

FI went to Bragg's in the diamond district in Boston. He raved about his experience - not pushy, very helpful, etc. We're going to get our bands there too.

We had an amazing experience at DeScenza's in Framingham for ours. We went there after we were treated VERY poorly at Barmakian's.

I would suggest looking around to see what he likes and ordering online from www.bluenile.com.  That's what we did for our bands and my ering.  They are fabulous to work with.

Bouvier's in the Jewelers Building, downtown Boston.  They are super nice and very reasonable.  They don't pressure you either, like a lot of other jewelers.   Highly recommended!!

I suggest Anais Jewelers in the Jewelry Building at 333 Washington ST. Boston. It is a small shop and the owner is also the designer. He can make you anything you want if you don't see what you like. He is an honest guy so you know you would not be getting ripped off.

My engagement came from him and both of our bands will be coming from him as well.

    Good luck.
