Wedding Venue Suggestions Please

Hi! My fiance and I are looking for an affordable venue in manhattan or the boroughs for our wedding of about 150 guests. We've seen some lofts with beautiful views and cool restaurants, like Rebar, but we'd like to find some more. Do you have any suggestions on places with great views or atmospheres that are affordable (~$100-150 per head) and accommodating for that number of guests? Any advice would be so appreciated!!!

Giando's on the Water in Brooklyn is affordable and has amazing views of the bridges and Manhattan skyline.  I'm getting married there in October.  The website is outdated and cheesy, but the actual location is fantastic.  And I'm having 150 guests at $120pp. :)

    The 3 West Club.
Right in Rockefeller center with beautiful outside terrace views of Rock Center and St. Patrick's Cathedral.  Lovely ballroom and great food.  We had our wedding there and loved every bit of it.  Definitely within your size range and budget.

Definitely Gianodo's on the Water - Great food too.
Russo's on the Bay is great, but no views at all.

i agree that giando's is better than russo's. the food isn't bad and they have multiple rooms at different sizes.

When we went for the tasting, I swear it was some of the best food I've ever had.  They have some very affordable packages too.

The Staaten on Staten Island is beautiful, the food is great, and the packages are affordable (there are a few different packages between $105-125pp). My fiance and I just booked our reception there for next year. I've been to a few receptions there before and it is always amazing.

The Lake Club on Staten Island has a room that holds 150. They are about $125pp. The food is amazing and it's in Clove Lakes Park with a beautiful view. We had originally had our heart set on booking our reception there but our guest list grew and we no longer fit in their reception room. Their website is www.lake-club.com .

We are gettign married at the Down Town Association on Pine Street in the Financial District. The basic package is $135 per head, and for $10 per head more you can add full open bar - includes 6 passed hors d'ouevres, first course, entree, and cookies/petit fours. You can bring in your own cake at no extra charge too. Plus, the venue is beautiful: www.thedta.com.
