day of hair/MU timeline

i need to finalize my appointments at the salon and just want to check if this makes sense. i am not an especially punctual person so i want to allow enough time not to feel rushed.

photog wants to begin at 4:00 so we have enough time. my salon is 10 minutes away from the venue. i was thinking that i would schedule hair for 1:00 and makeup at 2:00. both hairstylist and MUA said they would only need an hour. this way there is an extra hour to travel the 10 minutes. i will probably need to eat something before photos as well, but i don't want to start so early that everything has worn off by the 7:00 ceremony. sound reasonable?

    My photographer arrived at 4:00 also and I was going to start getting dressed.  I started my hair and makeup AT my venue at 2:00 and wasn't quite done by 4:00.  So you should be fine starting at 1:00--I wish I would have.  I had lunch at 12:00.  I highly advise eating before you go to the salon.  Once you start getting ready, there is very little time to do anything else.

    Do you recommend getting hair done before makeup or vice versa?  Does it matter?  I'm trying to play the game, "which would last the longest" in my head right now.  Any recs?  Thanks!

    I have to be at my church by 3:00 to get dressed, photos starting at 4:00 but the DOC said for the ladies to be at the church by 3, the guys have to be there at 3:30.  When I called to make my appointments I let them know I had to be out of there by 2:30, so they set my appointment to start at noon.

    I am not sure if it matters or not but I am having my hair done first and then my makeup just because I know if they hot roll my hair I am going to be sweating and I don't want to sweat my makeup off.
