Hello! I'm Missy, and I'm new to the knot.
My boyfriend and I live together, and talk about getting married almost daily, but we just haven't had the extra income for the ring. I've always been obsessed with weddings, so I would probably be up here even if we didn't talk about marraige so much

Anyways, I just figured I'd post this and meet new people I can relate to!

I will ditto KD and Paige as well.
Welcome! It's greta that you have found someone you love and feel that you want to spend the rest of your life with. A few ins and outs about the group in general from what I have found:
1) everyone is friendly and happy to give advice and share stories
2) I don't recommend asking for advice unless you are willing to hear real responses (i.e. something you might not like)
3) all the ladies are generally speaking from experience and only mean well... they want to help but sometimes the truth hurts
4) keep your eye out for recipes!
*No pony, no I do!*

[QUOTE]Hi. Welcome. Don't plan your wedding until you are engaged. Lurk and get a feel for the board.

I'm a little supersticious, so I don't really believe in planning a wedding until you're engaged... but I can't help but think about it :)
I'm also a bridesmaid in wedding in May (my SO's in it too) and I'm having fun helping my friend plan her gorgeous wedding. Until it's my turn, I just want to paddle around the website and see what kind of things are here!

yep, I said it "accidentally" on my local board once and just kept saying it<img src="http://cdn.cl9.vanillaforums.com/downloaded/ver1.0/content/scripts/tinymce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-smile.gif" border="0" alt="Smile" title="Smile" />
I'm glad I've made a good impression, Paige

I try really hard not to be one of those people who make everyone think "omg, what an idot!"... but... I am extreamly ditzy. Feel free to call me out on my stupidity
Anyways, I'm glad to see everyone's so friendly! It's nice to meet all of you!
My boyfriend and I talk about getting married a lot too... well that's one of the few topics we talk about.. others are children, where we want to live, moving in together (been long distance since we started, which is another story on its own), and etc. I hope you're having as much fun on here as I am!
I'm new here and not yet engaged. But ever since my boyfriend mentioned that he someday soon would like to pop the question (maybe next year!) I can't help but get excited about the big event and how it will bring us and our families together to celebrate our Love and Relationship.
The hardest part is trying to stop myself from wanting to talk to my boyfriend about all the exciting things I have in my head about our engagement/wedding.
I hope all of you in the same boat are enjoying this very exciting time in our lives . . .who knew waiting and anticipating could be so much fun!
