Rehearsal Dinner Invites

I recently ordered rehearsal dinner invitations from Wedding Paper Divas, but I just realized that the invites don't include any information regarding the actual church rehearsal that comes beforehand.  Where do people usually include the church info?

Re: Rehearsal Dinner Invites

  • My rehearsal dinner is at my venue following the rehearsal, obviously.  At the bottom of the invitation I wrote 'rehearsal to precede at 4:30".

You could always just add an encloser that gives the church hall information.

  • My invites say:

Practice makes perfect, its true what they say!
Please join us for a run through before the big day!
Please meet at the church at 6:30 on the dot!
Where Joe & Maria will soon tie the knot!
After the practice when all is said and done, please meet at _______ for food, drinks & fun!

Then i put the date and address of the church below that and then figured that everyone would just follow eachother after the church to the restaurant which is down the road!

Since you already ordered them and left it off you will probably have to do enclosures at this point.

  • I googled invite wording and found a bunch of options.  however, we are having to invite all ouf our out of town guests to our rehearsal dinner (which is most of our invited guest..ugh) so the people who will actually be at the rehearsal itself I think I was just going to tell by phone.  I didn't even think of putting that in their invite.. oops!! But I did do a rehearsal dinner invite.. the copy I ended up using is below
    In anticipation of
    our
    big day,
we wouldn't celebrate any other way than in the company of our family and friends!
    Please join us
    on Saturday, October 6th
    at
    5:00 p.m.

for great food, margaritas and conversation
    Restaurant Name & address

  • My FI's parents are hosting and wanted to invite some out of town family members who don't have to come to the rehearsal. We're planning to just tell the wedding party and others who need to be at the church the rehearsal details, and then sending out invites for the dinner to all who're invited.
