Limo Prices

We just decided that we're going to splurge on a limo. I've been talking to different companies and I feel like I'm getting my ass handed to me with prices.

How much did you pay for your limo and what company did you use?

I feel like this is the most subjective pricing - there doesn't seem to be a set price with companies.

There isn't, and it really depends on what you want.

We had a 28 passenger limo bus. We booked through A Tortorice and paid $1800 for 6 hours of service. The limo bus was amazing, it came with a stocked bar (beer and champagne). The driver was incredible. Tip was included.

Just a few things: Make sure you count yourself as 2 people when doing counts. Limos say 10 people, but really it is more like 8-9. Especially when people have their dresses on etc. Double check that the driver has directions before leaving the pickup location. Our shuttle bus driver did not and I didn't know about it to call and complain.

    GL!

    Your post made me LOL.

We used Sky Limo out of Washington and LOVED them! They charged us $600 for 4 hours and they give a 5th hour free, they just ask you to tip the driver if you use the 5th hour. The day before the wedding, the owner called me and gave us a free limo upgrade. Super nice guy. Although he does fly private planes and is out of the office a lot. He will get back to you though!

The driver was super friendly and helpful! The bar was stocked. They were great!

Yeah.. all we need is a 12 passenger limo for ~$500. I don't think that's totally unreasonable? This is the email that was sent to me:
"If you only have a budget of $500, sorry, I couldn't get you in a passenger van for so little money.

I'm sorry I could not meet your requirements, but to be honest, I don't know a reputable limousine company who could do it for what you are asking.  Insurance, fuel, and payroll alone are more than the amount you are willing to pay."

Am I completely unreasonable with the budget? Also, this guy quoted me three months ago a few hundred dollars cheaper.

ETA: We can go up on the price but I got quoted $899 all inclusive for a 26 psgr hummer limo.. vs. $688 for a 12 psgr shuttle.

I used Vogue- I think I paid $700 something? It's been a while- I'd have to check my planner at home. We only had 8 people total in it, so we probably got a 12 passenger. I know Vogue isn't the cheapest, but they were great to work with. I'd say $500 is on the lower side, but do-able. I know a few knotties used Amore- not sure what their prices are like, but they seemed to be lower than what I paid I remember. HTH some!

I feel the same way, Robyn.  The second you say "Wedding" the price is $800+.  But if you just wanted to go out on the town for a Saturday night, it's $400.  Totally unfair and unreasonable, but that's the way it is with the wedding world.

Did you talk to All Star?  I'd give them a call if you haven't already.

FI is pushing me to give up the limo and I'm trying REALLY hard to get a limo at a good price so that I don't have to give it up.  At this point, I'm thinking about getting just a town car for FI and me from the ceremony.  I thought it might be a nice downtime with just the two of us if I can't find one within our price range.  I just think the ride with the bridal party is a lot of fun, so I would really miss that.

When I first set the budget in April, I had no clue what limos cost and now FI won't budge with it.  I figured about what you set aside for limo and now I'm paying for it!  Let me know if you find something reasonable!

We're using a 26 passenger old-fashioned trolley that we are renting from Lenzner. Their min is 4 hrs, so we rented for 4 hrs and the total is $700 which I thought was an awesome price!!!

We're using TDF Limousine, we are getting a 12 person Limo Bus for $600.00. My friend used them back in July & had a good experience, so I feel comfortable using them.

They were friendly & seemed to be reasonable. Here's their website:
