Florists in N Jersey??

Hi girls!  Was just wondering if you girls could give me some advise on picking a florist... i'm allocating a decent amt of our budget to flowers bc i just love flowers and our room needs high CP's (getting married at the Pleastandale)!  I have talked to Crest so far (only on the phone) but i know they're really $$$. Does anyone know of florists in the N. Jersey area that do a great job like Crest however are a little more reasonable price wise?  Thanks!!!!

I booked with Stephanie from S&K Floral Expressions. She was a dream to work with. I love my wedding bouquet and her prices were more than reasonable. She works out of her house, but she does do mock-ups.

I'm not too sure how expensive Crest florist is but I'm working with Lisa from A Touch of Elegance in Randolph. She does amazing work! http://www.njweddingflorist.com/

Santos in Newark, Avenue Flowers in Elizabeth, and Connie Reimer in West Orange all consistently get good reviews.

We are using Connie Riemer.  She is very sweet and I have heard nothing but great things about her work.

I used AW Flowers in Kearny and got a very good price.

IDK about Crest so I can't say if the quality or designs are equal, but I was very pleased with what we got from AW.

I met with Crest and the guy completely freaked me out. He was so weird. Which was a turnoff. I decided to go with Laura Clare out of Bernardsville and Hoboken. I'm working with Jennifer and so far they have been amazing. The designs are much more detailed and thorough than others I had met with. They are really upscale. Check them out!

We really liked our florist, Romantic Garden.  I'm not sure how her prices compare to Crest -- I don't think she's as budget as some of the other recommendations here -- but I think we definitely got our money's worth.  Everything turned out beautifully, she had great ideas, she was very nice and patient to work with, and we really got a lot of her time during our planning process.

We're using Avenue Flowers and Gifts in Elizabeth  too.  I loved my mock ups (2 different styles of tall CP's) and I felt like Nathan really listened to me (unlike another florist mentioned on this thread who just steamrolled over everything I said).  I think I'm getting a really good value for my money so you might want to check them out.  Good luck.
