Engraving Question

We are both going to have our wedding rings engraved, with the same saying.  However my question is related to our wedding gifts.

I am going to give him a watch - should I have the watch engraved too?  I was thinking if I do it would be with a different saying.  I just dont want to over do it with engravings...

Thoughts please :-)

    I think it would be a nice surprise to engrave his watch with a different saying, since (presumably) he doesn't know you are giving him a watch.

    I like one or the other and since you're going with the bands already I say leave it off the watch.  I don't think guys see engraving the same way we do either so I don't think he will miss it.
