XP: Good, affordable white wine???

I'm not a big white wine drinker - I prefer red, but I don't want to take a chance and drink red in my white wedding gown.  We'll be serving Trader Joes Merlot as the red (I think it's a really good wine!), but I haven't found a white that I like.  I think it's because white is so different from red that I'm having trouble understanding what is a good white wine.  Any suggestions on a good white wine, preferrably under $5/bottle?

Thanks!!

Eh - any Trader Joe's White Zinfandel or Rosé should be fine.  They're "easy drinkers."  White Merlot is also an easy-drinker.

White Merlot or a Moscatto are both really good.

We actually did our own little Trader Joe's Wine Tasting last weekend and our favorite was the sauvignon blanc.  Also, consider a moscato or a sparkling wine for something that is clear in color and on the sweeter side.  Trader Joe's also has a great sparkling almond wine that was pretty tasty.  HTH!

The brand Frontera makes a great chardonnay for an amazing price (they also do other white wines). I am not a white wine drinker.
