Ceremony Locations

Okay Knotties! I need some help. FI is Catholic and so is my family, but I was never baptized so I can't get married in a church. I'm not too sure how I feel about going through all the classes and having to go to church every week to be able to get married in a church. So we're looking for a nondenominational church or other location.

We're getting married at the Towers, and I don't really want to pack everyone in to have our ceremony there and then have to change the layout during the cocktail hour. The lady at the Towers mentioned South Ferry Church, but it seems small and is not air conditioned (our wedding is mid-August).

Are there any ceremony locations near Narragansett that anyone has used/been to? We were having 130-140 guests. Thanks so much for your help!

I'm getting married at the Towers as well - and felt the same way about having the ceremony there.  It seemed like it would get claustrophobic to have the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception all in the same place!  We are using the South Ferry Church - becuase I didnt want to have to stress about rain with an outdoor spot.  Plus I think its so cute!  I figure if its hot we will jhand out fans and try to keep the ceremony short and too the point.

We did consider the Point Judith lighthouse and the gazebo by the Towers as well - you could look into those locations!
