Milwaukee Area - DJs and Photography

I am getting married October 20, 2012 and am in need of a photography/dj.  I was wondering if anyone could help me out with any affordable suggestions.  I would greatly appreciate it as we are trying to stick to a budget but yet want qualifty too.  Thanks!!:)

    My photographer is Optic Light Photography (www.opticlightphotography.com) and he's pretty reasonable--at the very least, all his prices are on his site. Our engagement pictures turned out great.

    For DJ, we're using Complete Music which is not exactly a local vendor. But the DJ we chose from them was the DJ at FSIL's wedding and he was great, so we went with them. Good luck! :)

    Our DJ is platter chatter- we got him on a discount because he works with my dad. But I think he's regular price is $750.  platterchatterdjs.com

    Photography is just ridiculously expensive!  The cheapest I found was real life photography out of Port Washington- their cheapest package is $1500.  We were able to get a friend, but it's still going to cost us $1300.

    We are looking into Silver Spoon Entertainment based out of Racine and they are 895 total.

    We are getting lucky with our photographer, she is just starting out. The only reason I heard of her was because my mom is friends with her MIL.

    We are lucky on the DJ part, my FI bandmate is a pro DJ and he is very reasonably priced.  I don't have his DJ information and not sure if he has a website or not but will get the info from my FI soon.  I believe he only charges $500.

    I'm going with Love and Memories Photography she is a friend as well and I was able to get a good price.  I know she normally charges $2000 but you get ALOT with it. 

    Another friend with a low budget recommended this photographer to me... don't know anything about them though, just passing on.  Todd A. Olson Photography

    I am using Lola Mae Images, and they are very reasonable & I think the quality is great also. We are paying about 1100 for all day, 2 photographers, 2 parent albums, and a few other things.

    For a DJ we are using The Music Master. Depending on what you want his prices range from 600-900. We really like him because he is bilingual, which we need.

    Thanks everyone for your suggestions, I really appreciated it!!!

    As far as the DJ, we decided to go wtih Midwest Sound & Light Shows - only $745.00

    For the photographer, we went with Dennis Heltemes Photography - $1,200.00 but it includes engagement pictures, 10 hours of wedding photography & 3 discs given to us.  I would say a pretty good deal:)

    We are using Dennis Heltemes too. He did a great job on our engagement photos, which was included in his package. Still looking for an affordable DJ though.

    DJ Express out of West Bend has great deals!! My fiance works for them and Jeff the owner is awesome!
