We are using Jen Cahill from the Tangled Web. She has been great to work with so far and is willing to work within any budget to give you the look you want. Her portfolio is beautiful and she gets great reviews!
I got a quote from her and you would think she was doing my wedding at the Taj Mahal. She didn't listen to the flowers I wanted, she didn't even ask me for a budget and she couldn't have been more standoffish at our appointment. I hope she listens to you Good Luck!
We used Suzanne Bellanger at Bella Floral Design for our wedding and loved our flowers. Review and pics of actual flowers in bio (under Vendor Reviews and Flowers, respectively).
I'm having my 2nd Mom do my flowers, but if I was to choose my own florist, it would have been Lori Kunian from Affairs to Remember in Melrose. She's a wonderful designer and can work with any budget. Here's a link to her website. http://www.affairstorememberflorist.com/
I've found that I have to have 'chemistry' with my vendors--if I don't trust them to share my vision, I won't be comfortable having them do it. I suggest meeting with a few florists to see how you feel, too!
Evans Flowers in Peabody. Beautiful arrangements and unexpectedly reasonable (at least, for us it seemed that way!) Also, they gave great suggestions as to how to cut costs (ie: what is in season, what looks similar to this or that but at a lower price range....) Highly recommend them!!
I second the vote for Orchids N' Blooms (www.orchidsnblooms.com)...our budget, though some time ago, was similar to yours and they did a beautiful job with what we had to work with. We highly recommend them, as they are doing my sister's wedding as well. Good luck.
