DW: Group Tours

We are having a DW wedding in NOLA in December 2010.  39 out of 40 guests are OOT.  We would like to arrange or at least get info/suggestions for group tours.

So any suggestions?

    I've done Honey Island Swamp tours with OOT guests before--they enjoy it. I also recommend carriage rides in the French Quarter. Group rates are available.

    We actually haven't done it yet...but we are thinking of a culinary history tour.  It's a walking tour of the French Quarter where you taste all different New Orleans foods along the way...

    Oooh, I like the idea of the Culinary Tour!  That sounds yummy!  :)  

    The swamp tour looks good too, esp with the chance of seeing Bigfoot.  ;)  I was spoiled by grad school - my Graduate Assistantship involved water quality sampling in the marshlands so we got to buzz around in an airboat and see all types of sights.  I wish my guests could have such an experience!

    New Orleans also offers ghost tours that take place at night in some of the historic houses.  You may want to contact the New Orleans Convention and Visitors' Bureau.  They can give you information on several New Orleans tours as well as pricing.  Good luck!
