Raves: I started our ceremony aisle decor project last night and I'm hoping to finish it tonight!
WP: Tonight I'm picking up my bridal shower dress and going shopping for a top for a bachelorette party this weekend. Tomorrow I'm driving down to CT for my friends bachelorette, staying over in a hotel, and going to her shower the next day!

Rave: we will have ceremony music! SO excited for that! Plus we booked our hotel for the HM to Colorado! Excited for that, too!
Weekend plan: My SIL and brother are coming over Sunday to see the new house and bring us our card box. It's a mailbox and she handpainted it. So excited, can't wait to see it. I also need to finish a few projects such as aisle markers (few more to make) and start on the escort cards.
Rave: Mom sent me a dress she found for the Rehearsal dinner and it's SO cute! Can't wait to have a chance to find accessories!
Weekend plans: hopefully finishing moving and organizing! Also some much-needed sleep after my ill-advised trip to the midnight premier of The Hunger Games last night/this morning! (Don't get me wrong, the movie was AWESOME but being a HS teacher and being at school this morning at 7am was NOT good!)
Raves: We are officially renters! The house is officially ours as of TODAY! We are so excited! We went over last night- took wendys- and just sat in the middle of the floor and talked!
Weekend Plans: Tonight: girls night- mexican, margaritas, and bowling alley... then hanging out FI in our house (without a single piece of furniture=]). Tomorrow: going shopping for a shower and rehearsal dinner dress + getting my dress fitted! Spending the rest of Saturday and Sunday cleaning up at the house and trying to get some wedding things checked off!
Raves: Got centerpieces done the other night! Super excited and such a huge CHECK!
Weekend Plans: Tonight dinner with FI! Tomorrow shopping with FSIL and FMIL for her something to wear for the wedding. Then girls night with FSIL and future cousin in law lol. Sunday relaxing at home cleaning while FI works.

A) Lyme Disease is the pits. I had a pretty scary scare years ago and I am still pretty traumatized by stupid ticks.
B)Empty house/apt memories are some of my best. My old roomie and I used to make sure we had 2 special nights in each place we lived- one night before we moved in, when it was empty, we would have a glas of wine, and just enjoy all the hopes we had for the apt, and then when we had all moved into the new place, we'd host a game night at the emptied out old place. People would bring lawn chairs, and we'd set them up in the lviing room. So fun.
Moving on.
Rants- Yes. RSVP, people! And also, I wish people would specify what they are having sent to our house. We have two big boxes from one person, and I'm not sure if they are wedding or shower gifts! And if it's a shower gift, am I supposed to bring it to the shower? How am I supposed to write a proper thank you note if I don't know what it's for?! !
Raves- Centerpices, Favors, music-- finally all decided. I think all major decisions are done. Moving on now to scheduling. Poo. Also, rave rave rave, FI finally talked to his BM about what they will be wearing. Phew!
Weekend Plans- hoping to visit the pancake breakfast our local firehouse puts on.. And spend a lot of time with FI. 6 weeks to go. Yikes!
Raves: Took today off from work in order to relax.
Weekend Plans: My bridal shower is Saturday morning and my mom, sister-in-law, and niece are driving 300 miles to come for it. It's a girls' only weekend!!!
Raves: We got our house and getting everything set up!! I can't wait to move in!! Getting more and more excited for the wedding everyday!!
Weekend Plans: Hopefully fix my car. Then we have 2 wedding receptions of friends to go to and some good quality time with my wonderful FI.
Raves: had my second fitting today and it went great. Getting more and more excited.
WP: tonight -- FI and I have had our Friday night grocery/dinner out date since we've been together. Lame we know but have you ever been grocery shopping on a Friday night? 2 words: peace & quiet. Sat: FI suit fitting; working; and benefit for my uncle who has been very ill. Sun: seating chart, seating chart, seating chart!
Raves: getting very excited for the wedding. had a second dress fitting this week! and have 2 bridal showers coming up!
Weekend plans: Hopefully making some picture frames with FI that were supposed to be part of my x-mas present. Typical weekend stuff, laundry, cleaning, nothing too terribly exciting.
Raves: All of our major remodel plans are done in our house!! We updated two baths, built a walkin closet in our bedroom, put all new doors on, tiled both bathrooms, the kitchen, the foyer and the hallway, and cut down (and cleaned up) a tree from the front yard. Now all that is left to do is to paint, paint, and paint some more! So excited to see our house come together like this!!
Weekend Plans: Every spring FI and I head to Detroit for a Red Wings game! We're leaving at about noon today so we can stop and see from friends who recently moved down there then its off to the game. I am so excited about tonight's game, our seats are on the glass!!!! Can't Wait!!!!!
