Does anyone else envision lots of senior citizens accidentally opening the door to their walk-in tub while it's full of water, and slipping out the door and down the steps on a giant soapy wave?


I'll bet it happens a lot.

Also: how water-tight are those things? Seems like they'd spring all sorts of leaks.

    I actually looked into this for my mother back when she was sick. Apparently they're water tight, but I had the same question about the wave o water for some senile woman who forgets she's standing in water. Maybe the water will make it impossible to open the door?

    water making the door not opoen = it's own problem...the drain gets stuck and grammy gets trapped in a tub...oh noes!

    But yah, we asked the same question when we were looking at this sort of thing for gramps.
