Here are the reviews from my 6/26 wedding. I tried to remember every vendor we booked. I was a DIY bride so we didn't have too many...
Rusty Pelican- B: The views speak for itself. They are truly breath taking. Inside and outside, it’s simply beautiful, which is why we picked it.. However, after experiencing it and the service offered, I feel we over paid. We paid a fee for the gazebo and didn’t use it. We also paid the coordinator a 500 fee, to do basically nothing. She wrote receipts when I made payments and told us when to walk down the aisle. My bridal party and I set up the centerpieces, candy buffet, guest table, welcome table, etc etc.. because it wasn’t part of her job, the morning of my wedding. I had to haphazardly run a quick rehearsal because it wasn’t part of her job either…. She sets up escort cards and favors.. Neither of which I used.. WTH?? LoL… I would consider greatly whether it’s worth what we paid her.. The food was AMAZING! Guests complimented us on our appetizers and dinner all night long. Our guests really LOVED the bar as well. However, the bartender served underage guests. The other downside was that my original coordinator left. So I’m kinda torn on their review. There are things I definitely loved and things that I hated with RP.
Neil Shannon Photography: A (pending pictures): His work speaks volumes. He will and does come off as pushy because he is a perfectionist. I’m the type, I just pushed back. If I wanted a particular picture, I pushed for it.. HE was always in the right spot at the right moment. I can’t wait to see his work!!
Chantilly Cakes: A++++ AMAZING!!! Both cakes looked amazing. I was blown away. Desiree did a fantastic job. We are still getting compliments a week later about how awesome the cakes looked and tasted!
Robert Sword: A+++++ Best wedding decision we made. He preformed our ceremony and DJ’d our reception. HE kept the party going all night. Guests really enjoyed how he walked around to each table to speak with guests. He took requests (if they were not on the do not play list). My brother in law wants to fly him to Texas to marry he and his girlfriend.
Cari with KyleLynn Cosmetics: A+ I love Cari. She was a blast to have while getting hair and makeup done. I think every girl she worked on looked amazing. We had compliments all night long! I just hit it off with Cari right from the start. She’s such an awesome person.
Chase Suite Hotels: A: I was worried with how this hotel would be, since it was one I never heard of. It is worth the money. There was plenty of room inside, even in the single bedrooms. They are also much nicer than I anticipated. Guests enjoyed staying here. The shuttle service is a little shotty. You have to call them once you land and have your bags and stand and wait for them to get there to pick you up. Instead of pre-arranging a ride from the airport. There was also confusion with the shuttle service to and from the wedding.
Shutterbooth: A+: There was a line all night long to get in the photobooth! People had a blast!! I loved that I went with the scrapbook option. It’s a blast looking back at the pictures from the night.
Cha Cha Coconuts (st. pete pier): A: We hosted our rehearsal dinner here the night before the wedding. It was where Nick and I had dinner the night her proposed. The food is decent, nothing to write home about. Guests loved being in the pier and the views. It was a success for our out of town family. They handled our HUGE party very nicely. We had plenty of room out on the deck.
