IBEX International for dress shopping

Hi, I'm visiting from over on the Colorado boards.

I haven't been able to find my dress in the southwest, so am hoping to go dress shopping while my mom and I visit my brother in LA in a couple of weeks.

I called a bunch of shops to see if they had the dresses I am looking for to try on ( a few Maggie Sottero and others).  When I called IBEX, I was told they carry EVERY MS.  I am so excited, but it sounds to good to be true.

Have any of you ladies had experience with them?  Do they really carry all Maggie Sotteros?  If you have shopped there was it a good experience.

Thanks!

I haven't heard of them but a lot of girls used Pebbles in Woodland Hills.  You might want to try contacting them.

    Hi,
I got my dress at IBEX. Here's my opinion:
I called them to see if they had a hard to find dress in stock (a Maggie Sottero), they said yes. I drove all the way down there (about an hour) and when I get there, they can't find the dress. They said it must have been at one of their trunk shows. Not wanting to waste the trip, I looked through their catalouges and tried on other dresses. Found the dress of my dreams!
Pros: They have a huuugggee selection and their prices are amazing.
Cons: Their customer service is a little rude and sometimes pushy when you take "too long" in the dressing rooms picking a dress.
Tip: Since you are from out of town I suggest taking a GPS and making sure it "talks" you through the driving steps. I am from the SFV area and I still almost got lost because of all the twists and turns you have to take to get there. Thank God I had my GPS.
Park as close to the store as possibe, and make sure you have change for the meters. Oh, and when they say what time the store opens, they don't open the store until that minute. I got there early and had to stand around in the cold.
Also, I am not getting my alterations done there, because it's really out of my way.

    Good luck finding your dress!!
