Hello all, I am looking at blocking some rooms near Newport or even in Middletown for our guests and wanted to know what would be a good rate to go for. Our wedding is off season on April 28, 2012 so I feel like we would be able to find something reasonable for everyone. Thank you!

    I can't say what it would cost, but I got married at The Hyatt in Newport last month and can't say enough abot them. Off season is def cheaper and it is such an amazing location. We all stayed there for the week of my wedding and had such a great time.

    Where is your reception? That should be taken into consideration probably. The cheapest you'll find is probably the Quality Inn. It's technically in Middletown, but it's JUST over the border by First Beach, across the street from the Atlantic Beach Club. If you want somewhere that's right in the heart of downtown, the Mariott is really nice and walking distance to everything. I'm doing two blocks for this October. The Quality Inn for those who don't care about location and want cheaper, and the Newport Harbor Hotel. Newport Harbor Hotel is a little difficult to deal with, which is why I didn't recommend them to you.
