Florida-South Florida

Hmm...

Craig mentioned his brother (and best man), recently asked him about diamond rings.

I smell a proposal brewing. Good for him, I love him like a brother, wish him the best, even if they've been dating for 2 months altogether, when you know, you KNOW.

However, if he decides to propose during the wedding, I will ... get deported because I'll murder whoever crosses my path. Am I being PMS-ey in assuming a proposal during somebody else's wedding is a bit ... inappropiate?

I'm all for them getting married because I know how hard it has been to find the one for them, and help Kyle I will, but not ... while we're cutting the doggone CAKE, please.

Goodness. I'm such a mean person lol.

LOL...don't worry because I was thinking this same thing the other day.  I have a few friends who are on the verge and I already told them to please not do it at the actual reception...that weekend, fine, but not that night.

HELL NO. Inappropriate? pppffttt - you must not have seen us in a moment of anger.

Wow - they better not even think about it!

The problem is ... the best man has the social skills of Winnie the Pooh and he'd totally think it appropiate and uh, rad, to propose during the wedding or rehearsal dinner. He'd think it's special. I'd think his funeral is special, if he does proceed.

I get it, the bride gets a day, not a week, but please ... don't.

LMAO....The bride gets her month!  LOL.  You should definitely have Craig spread the good word.

LOL Tiff! Craig would put it this way: "Bro, keep the ring in your pocket until after our Trash the groom photo shoot or whatever it's called. Otherwise she'll let the dogs out on you. And me. So please. K? Just ... don't."

Well since they are already talking about it, do you think he is going to wait 6 months? Def have Craig say something.

I agree with the PP's Jen!

I'd think his funeral is special, if he does proceed. ~> This had me peeing my pants!!! LMAOO!!!!!!!!

That would totally be inappropriate for him to do at the wedding. Hopefully he has better sense than that!!  If you really think he's going to do it, talk to him about it.

It would be funny to see you go postal on him in your wedding video!  It would make for an awesome trailer ;)

    LOL!!

Jen, see if Craig can casually ask him when he plans to propose.. and have him be ready to say "Don't do it, I need you alive!" if he responds with any wedding related event.

    Oiy..

I just went to post a cute comment and it froze and deleted it!

Anyhow... Basically, I suggested have Craig take a more active role in the ring hunt... and offer to "hide" the ring until the brother is ready to propose. Have him say you almost found your ring a few times... come on, we ALL looked once or twice! Granted... maybe he hadn't bought the ring yet.... but I digress...

Then when BIL2B asks for the ring back... 1. You will know and 2. If it's that weekend... Craig can just "forget" it at home in a well hidden spot. Ooops!

    Devious enough??
