Hey guys, just got engaged and was interested in The Old Mill in Rose Valley, PA. Wondering if anyone has any reviews or knows prices??

    I went to a wedding there this past fall.  I can't say I was overly impressed with it.  The food was so so.  The wedding party was on the stage and they felt separated from the rest of the room.

    My wedding is there on May 18th!  I can give a better review after the wedding of course, but if there's anything in particular you want to know, just ask!  I found it very unique and we loved the outdoor spaces.  We are serving dinner family style which I also thought was cool, so each person get everything.

    Hey I am getting married there in just about a month too! Prices aren't terrible--we are going with 15 passed appetizers for cocktail hour and then family style with a prime rib/chicken/veggie option, and a cheescake martini bar... with slightly upgraded chairs and basic linens (plus tax and gratuity) it's about $90.00 a person. We are paying for overtime though (an additional $500) and an additional $500 for outdoor lighting. Tent fees are an additional amount...I can't remember of the top of my head, I want to say $800 maybe? Conors Catering is very good at working within a specific budget, but he is VERY difficult to get in touch with, even when you get this close to your wedding. Every deposit we have sent has taken up to six weeks to get in touch with him to confirm receipt (via email and phone calls!) I can give you a better review after the wedding as well!

    Oh and in reference to having the wedding party sit on the stage--I thought that option was weird too! We have opted not to do that!

    Hey! I was supposed to meet with the Old Mill Friday but there was a scheduling conflict. Can you tell me all of the extra charges there were besides food? Like chairs, bartenders, tents? I'm planning from far away and hope I can get back soon! Thanks!
