i have 100 people coming to our wedding and my budget is $1,200 do you think it possible?

IMO, that's a pretty tight budget, but you could do it. It also depends on the type of wedding you want. If you want a big party with lots of professionally made food, beer, and dancing, $1,200 probably won't work. But if you're just trying to host a fun "party" type reception, it might work. I'd do a couple of things:

1. DIY everything, and get people to help you.
2. Try to find things as cheap as possible on craigslist.
3. Hang out on the budget wedding boards for good ideas.

you might also think about having an earlier ceremony or a later one and doing a 'cake and punch' reception. If you have your ceremony around 4-5 people are going to expect you to feed them, and the catering is usually big $$

Also there are alot of wedding dresses that are really "wedding dresses" @ places like macys and such that you can get in white. Also I THINK davids is doing a $99 sale right now, and always has clearence samples (every one I tried on was in good shape)
