Hmmm.... I don't know if there is a specific rule for this, but if you're just in the market for suggestions, I would say that flowers are probably out, they are pretty girly, as would be fans, lolipops, or other traditional carries. Are you doing readings, or taking vows from a book? He could carry the book they're in, if it's something attractive.  You could even put all of the readings, etc. into an album for him to carry.  Once he gets up to the alter, he hands it to the officient, and takes his place.
  • He doesn't have to carry anything.

Nothing. He can just walk in like the GMs do. And ask him what he wants his title to be in the program... "Bride's attendants" might be more appropriate/formal.
  • I don't think he needs to carry anything.  Just call him an Honor Attendant & have him stand by you.
  • I'm having a Man of Hnor as well and I wasn't planning on having him hold anything.

  • I am having a man of honor as well and he is wearing a boutonniere but not carring anything. I think it will work out better because his hands will be free to take my bouquet!
