We just got engaged 12/7/12! We set the date for 12/14/13 :) I'm so excited to be planning a winter wedding! We have the church, reception, DJ, cake, and florist booked!

    Congrats!  We have the same wedding date!  Super jealous you have everything planned already! We put down the deposit for the date since we are doing a destination wedding but I haven't even begun to think about anything else yet. lol

    Thank you all so much for the warm welcome! We've been very lucky... I think the planning in a small town has helped immensely! Lol. My fiancé's church is free since he's a member and there is only two buildings in town big enough for a reception. It probably also helps that my future sister in law is the florist in town! Minimal options has been great for me lol

    Wow!! This is my wedding date as well! I got engaged on my bday 12/18/2012, but you move fast!!! Im happy for you because im still trying to get it together, but my mom is helping me a TON, i still think i will need a wedding planner when its all over and done!

    hehe! My date too! Hello my date-twins! We got engaged December 23, 2013. So far we have the hall and the DJ locked down. We plan to officially book our photographer and officiant hopefully by March 1st.. (finishing up a couple more appointments this weekend.) I even found my wedding dress on January 25th and it came in yesterday! I know that's like unheard of... it usually takes 5 months but by some fluke my same size was on it's way to the shop anyway. What a whirlwind! I'm looking forward to a pretty "easy" summer haha. Good luck everyone!

    Hey ladies - I am also a 12/14/13 bride! I'm trying to get ideas about how you are planning your wedding day timeline since sunset is so early that time of year. We don't want to do a first look, so that is playing into our decisions of when we want our ceremony to start and still leave time for potential outside pics if the weather is ok. Oh, I am in KY :)
