Poll: Registry Information

So i did not put our registry information on our invitations as I know you are not suppose to do because of ettiquite. I did however have a website listed where people could find our information. I'm just afarid many people do not know to go look on the website because some brides do put that information in the invite.

Is anyone else afarid that people will be clueless?

On my invites I am putting "for additional information, please visit out website". Plus I put that on our STDs so I am sure our registry info has already been out among our guests. Aaaaaand we've been asked by several people already. Don't worry, the word gets around just fine!

i had our website on our extras insert. also, a thing went out in the bridal shower invitations that listed our registries. Word of mouth works well.

Put ours on our wedding website (did insert to direct people to website for RSVP, accommodation & extra info).
Mine was also listed on the shower invites (which is acceptable).

We had our website on an insert in the invites, and then the registry info is on the website. I'm not convinced that we've had very many website visitors, but lots of people have asked us, our parents, and my MOH where we are registered, so I know that word gets around!

I put our website address on the invites with the registry information on the website. However, I think my mom and sister put where we are registered on our shower invites as well.

Like everyone else so far, we placed our website on one of the invitation inserts - and it looks like people have figured it out so far because we've gotten some gifts....but, we've also had a few peoople ask us where we're registered.

I wish you could choose multiple options on these polls because I think it's pretty common for registry info to be on websites, spread by word of mouth and also to be in shower invites.

Ditto Amanda.  I put it on the website, with the url in my invites, they were on my shower invites, and it has been spreading by word of mouth.  People want to know.  They will find out.

Thanks girls! I know I need not to worry! I talked to my little sister is making my shower invites and I asked her to include our registry information. So I feel better:)

This is what I did as well.  We've received a few gifts already, so it seems to have done the trick.

I'm so glad you posted this!! I was prepared to include the registry info in our invites, as I just copied the format of a recent wedding we went to. Eek!  Thankfully I'm making them myself so I can fix them easily. Should have done my research in advance!
