of corse the icing can be any color.  We are going to DIY with.  We spoke to the banquet hall mnger, he said its ok to bring them in.....

opinions??

    Perfect for a brunch! I would put a little notecard on cute card stock on the table indicating whether guests ate encouraged to eat them .... As a guest I'd want to know.

    I bake a lot of cupcakes, and I think it has the potential to be a big PITA and a big mess when people try to take the cupcakes.  How are you going to affix them in that bouquet shape?  Why not just do smaller cupcake towers as a centerpiece rather than trying to make it look like a bouquet.  It's cute, but I think the logistics outweigh the effect.

    Decorating that many cupcakes in a rose design is time consuming and you'll have to practice, it's not easy.  Also, you'll have to decorate them the day before your wedding, so doing all of them in one day will hurt your hands. 

    Agree with PP about when one person takes a cupcake, will they all fall over?  Cupcake towers are adorable, and much less logistics.

    Once a cupcake is taken, you won't have a pretty centerpiece anymore.  Big potential for it to get really messy too.

    I read the DIY instructions.  Cupcakes are affixed by toothpics so no, if you take one out you wont have a spill over....I
    Im considering the cupcake tower aswell.... I saw this and got taken back... so cute and different. 
    I havent decided if I care if its not so pretty nce people start eating it yet.  I go back and forth about it.  as a guest I think Id be more excited about eating the cup cake then the fact that the centerpiece isnt as cute now that Ive eaten the cupcake...Or maybe Id encourage not eating the cupcakes until the end
    Id def put something on the table to remove cupcakes cleanly,,, tongs or something in a adecorative way ...

    O and I should mention... Its a VERY small wedding... 35 guests.. so I only need for 5 tables... Not as many cupcakes as it would seem
