I don't usually start these but I'm so excited I just wanted to share!

We got our wedding bands last night and are in love all over again! We also booked our DJ (Andrew with A Music Wave) last night. Then, on Saturday we are meeting with another photographer so we can make a final decision. Wedding planning is finally stating to get fun now that everything is falling into place.

    Whoopeee!  I have something to add as well...

    We finally received our invitations (finally, finally) and my FSIL graciously offered to address all of them (she has much nicer handwriting than FI and I) and also offered herself and other IL's to help assemble and stamp the invites with us on Sunday!  Hurrah!  Oh, and she and another FSIL are hosting a couples shower for us on Saturday night--guess I lucked out in the IL department, not much to complain about there. 

    Now if I could just figure out the linen situation, things would be perfectly lovely all around.

    Sorry, one more to add...

    I had my bridal portraits taken on Saturday.  The spray tan, hair, makeup, dress alterations, jewelry, and bouquet were great.  Just waiting on those proofs...hurry hurry photographer!

    My AW's aren't very exciting. I got a speeding ticket last night and the money that I am using to pay the ticket is the money that was being set aside for my surgery. Which leads me to my other AW...I'm going to a different doctor tomorrow for a second opinion and then Monday I'm getting a sonogram done.

    Let's hear more positive AW comments here! I'm such a Debbie Downer!

    Congrats, ladies on all the wedding stuff :)

    Bdette, it will be ok.  I'm thinking about you and I'm glad you're getting a second opinion.

    My AW is that after having absolutely no self control for 2 weeks where food is concerned, this week I've lost 3 pounds because I've been eating well and not drinking (except for an occassional drink at night).  Now I just need to start working out again and I'm sure I'll lose the other 3 lbs I gained.  It's so hard to fit working out into my schedule with a new puppy.  I feel guilty leaving him crated up.

    Ooh good ones today!

    Our invitations are addressed and stamped, just need to add a direction card and waiting for return address labels and seals to come in.

    Shower is scheduled too and invitations are addressed and ready to go.

    All of our vendors are now booked for the wedding and we are pretty much ready to go!   I've got a few DIY projects in mind but I'm SO glad I've planned this all along and left myself plenty of time to enjoy this time and not be so stressed.

    We booked our caterer and baker this weekend!
    Oh and today is the last day I'll be in the triple digits!!!

    I like the occasional drink at night Mariah!  Now I don't feel so bad that I do that every night too!

    congrats ladies for all the checks.  I have more checks to add too!  I booked our string quartet and our videographer this week!  yeah!

    And.....it is my birthday!  Now that's total AW!

    FI and I finally decided on a venue and yesterday made our verbal commitment to the owner there! We decided on the Addison Event Center because it will allow us to bring in our own catering( which will allow us to have exactly the kind of food we want) and and our own alchohol( which will save us a bundle). Thanks to all my fellow knotties for answering all my venue questions! :)

    Happy Birthday Mralpha!

    My AW:

    My beloved Kansas Jayhawks won the big 12 last night! Woo! And watching Sherron Collins give Allen Fieldhouse his final farewell made me cry. So proud of him! Love being back in Lawrence for a few days...especially to see my Jayhawks dominate K State! Woooooo!!!!

    And I bought my baby girl her first KU onsie yesterday. :)

    Back to Dallas in a few hours!

    We booked our hotel block/morning after brunch this past weekend and I found my shoes.  I'm super excited because I think we have every vendor nailed down except for the cake and the ceremony music.

    I had two florist meetings yesterday, and they both came in way under my budget! And I'm going to book our cake this weekend. We're celebrating my sister's birthday this weekend, so while I'm there, I'm going to pick up some cake for her!

    And, today someone at work commented on the weight I lost while I was in Tennessee, it made me feel really good!

    We booked our cake on Saturday with Celebrate Cakes.  So yummy!

    And my niece turned 2 months yesterday and my sister texted me a pic.  The kid is so freaking cute.  She had on a bow and tutu with a camo shirt.

    On the bright side, we are FINALLY under 100 days. I got on this board over a year ago, and had been engaged a YEAR at that point. I'm so excited...for this damn wedding to be over! (and for the Hawaii honeymoon)

    Sorry I am never on anymore, I feel bad for commenting on some peoples things and not others! My stupid work computer does not like TK

    My AW: 16 DAYS!!! I had to take a half a xanax the other day but I think I am finally calm, I think the thing that worries me is that I really don't have anything left to do and I feel like I am forgetting, if any of you already-married ladies have any suggestions or last minute things you did, that would be greatly appreciated!

    My AW is I am down to NINE DAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   Praise Jesus--R&R is in sight....finally.  :-)  Next week is massages, mani/pedis and facials.  :-) ahhhh

    I'm excited to finally begin a new chapter of my life and start looking for a new job/career (just not sure what I want- yet). :-)

    Like several others have already said, thank you all for all of your wonderful ideas, suggestions, comments and support.  You are all fabulous!!

    Bdette:  have you asked about a payment plan?  I did that with my last ticket.  They let me pay in 3 installments.  Then maybe you can pay the ticket and meet your deductible.  You've been in my thoughts!  I know it will all work out for you.

    My AWs:
    Ordered invites!  PIB of smaple.  Cna't wait to see the proof!
    Rehearsal dinner booked!  We had to wait until 3 months out for them to take reservations.
    Honeymoon FINALLY booked!  (can you tell it wasn't my job??)
