This past Monday I bought a cute dress for my shower (which I thought was on March 10). I went home on Friday for a dr's appointment and thought I was meeting with my organist at the church on Saturday. When I arrived at the church, all my friends and family were there for my shower! I was completely shocked. I thought for sure it was March 10. One of my BM who lives in MS even flew in for the weekend to come! It was such an amazing event. My mom and BM put a lot of work into it to make it so nice. FI and I got a lot of gifts. We are going to save using them until we move in April so we start off with everything new and clean.

THen that evening we had my Bachelorette party. We went out to dinner and then to a bar for dancing. It was great! We all got ready at my friends apartment, chatted and got dressed up. Since I left my cute outfit at my apartment. I had time between the shower and the party to find a dress with a few of the ladies.
I am sad it is all over with already but I'm glad it worked out that people could come. If they both weren't the same day a few of the girls wouldn't have been able to make it because they are out of towners. It was such a surprise and a great day. Now to start the thank you notes!
