Yesterdays post led me to wonder for those of you just setting up a tripod do you have a place in mind? I keep going back and forth on where will be best.....and wanted to hear if you guys had any ideas.

Re: for those withOUT videographers

  • If I go ahead with this, I was going to set it up at the back of the church, near a speaker. And then at the reception somewhere near the dancefloor just out of the way.

  • I'm not having a professional videographer, but my brother {who went to film school} will be filming it. He is in the bridal party so he will be putting one camera up front (which will be moved after I walk down the aisle to the side of the alter) and one on the choir loft.

  • i'm not having a viedographer bcause we are hiring amazing photographers.  I have several digital cameras with recording capabilities so maybe I'll tell my brothers to film whatever they see fit.it's really not a priority for me.
  • No professional videographer but I did ask a family friend (who always has some kind of camera in his hand anyway) if he would video the wedding for us. He and his family will probably be sitting in one of the front pews and he'll be on the end of it.

  • We'll have ours set up in the back corner of the church.  We have a great photographer, so I'm not worried about great detail in the video, I would just like to capture a little of the ceremony and the party walking down the aisle.
