I've been thinking about my wedding day makeup and most makeup doesn't last long on me at all. Plus I don't want to pay to have it professionally done, lol.

I Use the urban decay De-slick I like it but I have never used the all nighter spray... When I wear make-up (which I dont everyday) I also use smashbox photo finish primer before I apply my foundation it keeps me from getting shine. Not sure how much you are wanting to spend but I know Mac has an amazing setting spray which of course is $$

Oh go to this site it's all abou makeup and she gives tons of advice on different skin types and products to use... Www.makeupgeek.com I will warn you I went crazy on this site... Lol I bought all kinds of makeup after looking at stuff on there...

I think it is... I am at work right now when I get home I will look it up and I will let you know... But I think that's the bottle though... It's not to badly priced from what I have seen from the previous time I bought it... Do you have a store called Ulta where you live?

Yup! I live near 2 ULTAs :-) and there are 2 MAC stores near me too. I definitely noticed how cheap it was, but the reviews didn't look as good.

I'm going to do my own makeup also.

1. I can't justify spending money on it

2. I've had my makeup done professionally many times, and have never liked it as much as when I do my own

I'm a huge bare escentulas fan! They have an amazing face and eye primer and their makeup just stays on better in general. Before them, I couldn't justify spending money on anything but drug store makeup, but I think this is worth the money.

I like Bare Escentuals too, mostly because it's one of few makeup brands that doesn't make me breakout like a teenager :-P Also love that the Buxom eyeshadows are named after dog breeds so naturally I plan on getting the Cocker Spaniel one.

I rarely wear makeup, so I'm definitely looking at all my options. It's safe to say a good chunk of my night has been spent researching makeup, lol.

ETA: I have been reading that Bare Minerals makeup sometimes doesn't show up well in photos. I imagine that's where retouching would come in :-)

I have a combo of smashbox, and bare essentials and then some basic covergirl foundation. Took me years to find what works. I will be doing my own base make up and two of my brides maids are amazing at doing eye make up so they have both said they will help me with mine. I cant justify spending money on a professional make up person either.

Going to Ulta and asking sounds like a good idea. Just as an FIY I just did a video shoot totally in Bare Escentuals and the make up looked better than any other times I've been filmed. However, I haven't done a photo shoot completely in bare escentuals and that may be different.

Take a look- there's a tiny bit of shine, but I hadn't touched up the makeup in about two hours.
