white tie vs kon

have any of you used white tie or Kon limo for your transportation?

Also, do you think shuttling people from the hotel to the reception in a school bus is tacky? I was thinking about using First Student charter school busses so people wouldn't have to drive home after the reception. I figure tacky is better than being pulled over but I could always pay more for a limo bus.

thanks

We are using White Tie and so far I've been pleased with their service. They respond quickly to emails and always answer the phone. I went to check out the shuttle buses, and their new 33 passenger one is way nicer than the 28 (or something in the 20s) passenger one, just an FYI. Our wedding isn't until October so I can't tell you how the service is day of but I'm not worried. And they had the best prices that I found.

I opted to spend the extra money on White Tie rather than a school bus, but I had it in my budget. As a guest, I would much rather a school bus than driving myself, but I'd prefer a fancy bus over that. I wasn't concerned about my friends, but I was concerned about older relatives who would be taking it. So no, I don't think it's tacky.

I am not familiar with Kon, but we are using White Tie for our wedding.  They have been very helpful with recommendations and also quick to respond to questions.  We are spending the extra for their 33-passenger shuttle to get people to the wedding/reception.  I suggested the school bus idea to my parents because I didn't see anything wrong with it (hey-it's a free ride for your guests, right?!), but my dad preferred the shuttle idea.  I think either way, it's nice of you to give your guests a ride and they shouldn't complain.

We are using White Tie for our wedding day for the wedding party bc the ceremony n reception are that far and mostly everyone lives in or around Falmouth with the exception of my out of town guests. But we are using Kon Limo for our Bachelor/Bachelorette party for their party bus. we plan on going for a night out of the town with our wedding party n some other guests to enjoy an evening in Boston on their party bus which is amazing n not row seating which what we wanted. Their prices are pretty similar though. Both companys are great but have u thought of using the Cape Cod trolly? they have great trollys that shuttle people as well. Im not sure of the price but its also another alternative to look into before making a decision. My MIL asked me about it but there's only 10 ppl in our wedding party then our parents n the flower girl so we didnt need a big trolly n have to pick n choose people. Good luck
