Sari shoping and tailoring in DC?

Hi there,

I need to find a good tailor in DC, familiar with altering heavily beaded clothing, to tailor a sari blouse for me.  I have tried googling for this, but to no avail.  I would also love recommendations for good stores to buy saris for my bridesmaids, for our forthcoming Indian/ New Zealand/ American cross-cultural wedding.  Grateful for any suggestions.

    I was looking on eknazar.com -

    In Washington DC, (they abbreviated it as Washington) -
    - Link - This link has 4 folks that do custom tailoring in Washington DC area
    - Link - Shaadi Planners, they might know of someone that can help you out
    - Link - Apparel/Clothing stores - should have someone that is a tailor
    - Or in Richmond, Virginia, which isn't a very far drive, there has a lot more...
